Nelly is one of the most active young actresses in Israel, appearing in over eight movies and 13 TV shows. She has also worked for 10 years in the Israeli national theater, appearing as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, among other roles. Nelly is an activist for women’s rights and diversity in acting and was a part of the #MeToo movement before “Me Too” even happened. For the past year she has also been the voice and face of environmental advocacy organizations in the country after filming a short skit about the gas rigs that are scheduled to be built off the coast of Israel this summer, which ultimately garned over a million views (!!!) and landed her on the cover of Globes Magazine. Nelly always seeks out opportunities to use her influence as a celebrity (though she hates this word) to promote the values that she believes in: freedom for all, democracy, and the environment. She lives in Tel Aviv , is happily married to filmmaker Eitan Sarid, and the proud mother of a two-year-old son, Rashi.
