Neta Gruber Perry
With a BA in Amirim Excellence Program and International Relations from the Hebrew University, and an MPP (Master of Public Policy) from Oxford University, Neta formed the base of her professional and social entrepreneurship activities at the intersection of global communities, innovation, impact, cross-sector collaborations, diversity, and creativity.
Neta is currently Head of Content for Tech Meets Design, an initiative highlighting the strategic role design plays in the tech sector. Led by Start-Up Nation Central, Tech Meets Design events bring together entrepreneurs from Jerusalem’s flourishing tech sector and its dynamic design community, to explore the nexus point between those two worlds.
Neta also leads university partnerships at Fresh Fund, a VC focused on investments in early stage student-led startups. Neta teaches a course on VC investments at Haifa University as part of the new Haifa Innovation Labs.
Previously, Neta was director of Israel Lean Launchpad, an accelerator program for startups in the Digital Health space, co-founded by HUJI Innovate - The Hebrew University Entrepreneurship Center, as well as the Merage Institute, The Jerusalem Development Authority, Start-Up Nation Central and others.
Earlier in her career Neta was Director of Strategic Relations and Business Development at Venn, a social startup whose goal is to transform urban life and create vibrant and socially-engaged urban communities. Prior to working at Venn, Neta was part of the economic development team at Tel Aviv Global, where she developed Tel Aviv’s municipal policies aimed at supporting and promoting the local startup ecosystem globally.
Her strong passion for creating social impact and bridging between worlds, led Neta to pursue social-entrepreneurship initiatives with hope to inspire her peers to become socially active as well. Upon graduating an Harvard Kennedy School executive course for leading social change, Neta founded and is leading The Generator, Midburn’s platform for inspiring and supporting social change initiatives. The Generator develops a network of changemakers, provides practical tools and offers financial support to burners who wish to positively impact their communities year-round.
Neta is also a nature raves enthusiast and a mother of a redhead 1 year old.
