Nissimmi Naim Naor
Nissimmi Naim Naor was born in Tel Aviv as the eldest of nine. In eleventh grade, he was accepted to LEAD-Israel Youth Leadership Development. He also launched a project of food distribution to the poor before he was 18. Nissimmi graduated high school in 2001, and worked as a chef’s assistant at an elite restaurant until he was drafted to the Givaty brigade. He infantry officer and served as a platoon commander in the Bedouin regime and in the Orthodox Nahal, he completed four years of service and worked as a guide, instructor, manager and advisor in several youth programs, in Israel and abroad. Today, Nissimmi is a second-year student in Hebrew University of Jerusalem philosophy, economics and political science program, and works as a leadership instructor in LEAD and as a policy planner in a governmental office, trying to make himself (and the world) a bit better every day.
