Phillip Brodsky is the executive director of The David Project, an initiative of Hillel International. As executive director, Phil updated the organization's strategic plan in 2016, piloting and built several new initatives, and navigated the organization's merger with Hillel International in 2017. Prior to serving as executive director, Phil was David Project's campus director for four years, a time during which Phil oversaw the campus department through a major strategic shift and developed The David Project's relational advocacy strategy.
Phil earned his MBA and Master’s in Jewish Professional Leadership from Brandeis University from the Hornstein and Heller Schools in 2010. Prior to that, Phil was the Director of Jewish Programming for Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity for three years. While at AEPi, Phil taught student leaders how to organize successful philanthropic programs, bring Jewish enrichment programming into their chapters and talk about Israel within the fraternity and sorority community. Originally from Charlotte, Phil did his undergraduate work at Univeristy of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Phil lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Mindy.
