Rachel Gildiner is the inaugural Executive Director of GatherDC, a organization in Washington D.C. helping to ensure that every Jewish 20 and 30 something finds connection to community and to a compelling adult Jewish life. She has over 12 years of experience developing new ways to use the power of relationships to connect people more deeply to one another and to the Jewish community. Rachel is committed to developing and co-creating alternative expressions for Jewish life in the 21st century, ensuring that more individuals can access a meaningful Judaism that works for them. Rachel holds a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary, a master's degree from The George Washington University and is a certified experiential and soulful Jewish educator. She lives in Silver Spring with her husband and three children. In her free time she enjoys dancing, live music, hiking and singing out loud to the radio.
