Rachel is the Chief Program Officer at Slingshot, a non-profit focused engaging a community of young Jewish philanthropists to make a lasting impact on the Jewish world and beyond. Previously, she worked at UJA-Federation of New York to help build a more diverse and welcoming Jewish community. Rachel lives in Hoboken, New Jersey with her husband, Jason. In 2017, Rachel was elected to serve on the Hoboken Democratic Committee and in 2019 was elected as Chair. She is an alumna of Rutgers University, and holds an Masters in Public Administration and a Masters in Jewish studies from NYU. Rachel founded the Moishe House in Murray Hill, New York; is a 2014 Ariane de Rothschild Fellow; and in 2015 served as the Social Media Manager for Lean In’s NYC Chapter. She enjoys the New York Times, yoga, cycling, chocolate, and HBO Original Programming.
