Rebecca is a mother, an olah of eight years, an M.A. graduate, an educator, and a dreamer! Growing up in Sydney, living in London and then Ramat Beit Shemesh, she has always worked and volunteered as an educator both in and out of the classroom. She loves to read and learn, to meet new people and to gain inspiration from as many different places as possible. Rebecca comes from a family filled with people who devote their time and energy to changing the world for the better, in every field imaginable. Rebecca strongly believes in the power of communities when it comes to protecting and nurturing teenagers. She has worked hard to produce a community based program that helps teenage girls succeed academically and socially. Rebecca is excited and proud to have started Kol Hadassa, a school for girls who are looking for an alternative to mainstream high school.
