Ronnie Tal is a native Israeli – born in Jerusalem, but a Tel-Avivian at heart. She holds an M.B.A. in marketing and entrepreneurship. Her entrepreneurial spark was ignited after years of working on novel technology projects as a consultant to start-ups. Her expertise is in finding grants and funding for research and development that will impact the global market in various sectors through the use of state of the art technologies. Today, she is also co-founder of a local community of a global network that helps entrepreneurs in their 20s and 30s generate and accelerate their ideas and initiatives into businesses. Her motto is, "work is not just a job," which she understands to mean that in order to create value you have to love what you do. This is one of the reasons that drove Ronnie back to school to learn graphic design. Her passion for art will help her in advising entrepreneurs in developing their product’s concepts and jn building their unique brand. Ronnie is co-founder of the Israeli group, Escape the City. The other co-founder is an Australian living in Israel. Escape Tel Aviv is a global community of talented, corporate professionals who want to do something different. The community offers a wide range of inspiring activities and content, from stories of people who escaped the 9 to 5 grind and are now engaged in meaningful initiatives to creative jobs around the world (from running a horse-riding camp on the beach in Mozambique to building sustainable communities in amazing places). Escape Tel Aviv offers entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to engage with other people who have come to Israel from all over the world, thereby creating a diverse network of young professionals. The group engages members with entrepreneurs who have already found their path and founded their own business in all sectors. The future plan includes specific trainings in substantial activities, such as global marketing, funding and IP. Ronnie and the team in Israel operate solely on volunteer basis, meaning all the group's activities are given to members for free. Currently, Ronnie is also working on opening a new business line for accelerating start-ups within Deloitte and coming up new funding schemes.
