Owner, Rotem Alima Productions

Rotem is a successful producer and director, whose talents surfaced at a young age. Her high school film project was presented at both the Jerusalem and Tel Aviv cinematheques when she was just 17. Rotem went on to study film and television at Tel Aviv University. During her studies she was nominated as a Perlov Fund scholar and selected as one of 25 students in the world to participate in the Berlinale film festival, as well as the Vienna film festival. Rotem has produced six short films, one feature, and two television shows. In 2014, while still a student, she won a Student Academy Award for the film Paris on the Water that she produced, as well as an Israeli Academy Award. In 2015 her feature film, Once There was a Girl, was nominated for the Israeli Academy Awards in the Fringe category. Rotem also sat on the the Makor Film Fund committee in 2015 and 2016 and was one of three members to chose in which films the Israeli government would invest. In 2016, she was honored as one of Forbes’s “30 Under 30.” Rotem currently runs her own production company, producing advertisements and short films for brands like Reebok, HP ,Tel Aviv University, the Israeli Tourism Ministry, and the President of Israel.
