Samuel Green is Europe’s leading (and, to the best of his knowledge, only!) Zionist rapper. His CDs have sold several thousand copies, with all of its profits going to charity. He has performed everywhere from England to Argentina, Israel to the US, Burma to Australia.
Samuel grew up in the UK and studied Japanese and Hebrew at the University of Cambridge. There he founded the UK's only Israeli music radio show, Kol Cambridge, which was nominated for a BBC award. The show is now hosted on the TLV1 station.
After graduating, Samuel was elected Director of FZY, the UK's largest Jewish youth movement, and spent a year working in the community. During this time he was the youngest person to have been featured in the Jewish Chronicle's ‘Power 100 list’ of the most influential British Jews.
He then moved to Geneva to work in marketing for a large multinational; the company later agreed to transfer him to Israel. He left the company in mid-2012 to study to be a licensed tour guide. He now divides his time between tour guiding, his radio show, rapping, freelance marketing consulting, and being a father.
Samuel was awarded 'Tour Guide of the Year for Israel' by the Travel & Hospitality Awards, and 'Tour Guide of the Year for Tel Aviv' by the Luxury Travel Guide.
