Sarah is a Program Associate in the Washington, D.C. office. She works closely with the Grantmaking team, helping to advance the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation’s national Jewish agenda. Sarah also works collaboratively with other team members to match individuals with opportunities in the Jewish world so as to empower them to build inclusive communities, support the State of Israel, embrace the joy of Judaism and repair the world.
Prior to joining Schusterman, Sarah worked in the business world as a consultant and as a loan officer for small businesses in low-to-moderate income communities. Sarah has a B.A. in Economics and Global Studies and an M.Ed. in Globalization and Educational Change from Lehigh University. While at Lehigh, she founded a chapter of Challah for Hunger and was actively involved in Jewish life on campus.
Sarah’s ancestry dates back to a long line of devoted Mets fans and chocoholics. She is a proud New Jerseyan, enthusiastic runner, Broadway fanatic and wannabe Food Network star. Sarah loves urban hiking and exploring her DC neighborhood, and you can often find her roaming around the zoo.
