Tomer Shemesh
Mr. Tomer Shemesh is the founder of Social Transport, an innovative new project becoming THE bridge between the industries and the social sector in Israel, by means of a supply-chain collecting surplus and distributing to welfare agencies, previously, Tomer served as Operations Manager of Leket Israel, the largest food bank in Israel, and was responsible for a complex system of identifying, collecting, and distributing fresh produce, which would otherwise be discarded, to some 150,000 persons in-need nationwide.
Upon completing his military service, Tomer spent 10 years working to reestablish the Na’aran kibbutz, as director-general and manager of the plantation (of palm dates), as well as one of the first medicinal cannabis farms in Israel.
Tomer has also managed the Field and Project Headquarters of "Meretz" political party, representing a left-wing ideology, currently with 5 seats in the Knesset (Israeli parliament).
Tomer is in avid artist working with various materials, by carpentry, silversmithing, and locksmithing.
