For the past 10 years, he has created and led a variety of nonprofits and NGOs that advance education, human rights, democracy and cultural understanding.
Uriel is the founder and Executive Director of Altneuland Foundation, which promotes cultural diversity through art and Shagriria, an organization that trains university students to be young diplomats in order to promote peace and cultural understanding.
He was the founder and Academic Director for seven years of MINU, an NGO that advocates democracy in high schools throughout Latin America by means of innovative educational programs such as Model UN, congress role playing and more.
Uriel also works as Project Manager and Community Director at Centro Hebreo Iona, a Jewish community with a primary school and kindergarten. He is a professor of philosophy of the social science at at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he received his Bachelor’s degree. He is currently working on his thesis for an M.A. in cultural diversity.
