Vital is a 29-year-old unstoppable woman. She was born in Nazareth Illit, Israel, and moved to Rishon LeZion at age twelve. Soon after birth Vital was diagnosed with a rare cancer which took years of chemotherapy to defeat, but which left her paralyzed. Vital was determined to stay positive and joyful, she attended regular schools and excelled in her studies, was always friendly and socially engaged, attended leadership programs, participated in the student council, and loved being influential. She fought long and hard for accessibility at her school and later on in the IDF, where she eventually served with distinction. Since childhood Vital has been an active sportswoman in a variety of disabled sports, and after completing her army service became a competitive dancer. She joined Israel’s Para DanceSport national team and is a European Championship silver medalist and a World Championship bronze medalist. Vital ran for the Knesset on the list of a party for rights for the disabled; has a degree in law and government from IDC Herzliya, where she also joined the student union, formed an extracurricular program, joined the AEPi fraternity, volunteered at Hillel, and promoted the integration of students from abroad. Vital is currently a lawyer and mediator, a proud member in social leadership and empowerment communities, and invests all her time and effort in sharing her knowledge and experience by consulting, mentoring, and giving motivational lectures about her life-story, positive thinking, social leadership, accessibility, and the integration of people with disabilities.
