Vivian Lan Agami
The youngest child in her Jewish Mexican family, Vivian is a social entrepreneur with a strong background in leadership, education, technology, and art. Focusing on innovation, she believes in approaching the world’s challenges through creativity and collaboration. Vivian spent years working with marginalized communities in Mexico, Kenya, and Israel. In response to the catastrophic drought in Africa in 2011, Vivian ran a social-media campaign that raised $100,000 USD in 10 days, assembled a global team of 57 volunteers, and delivered 40 tons of food and medical assistance to 20,000 people in Kenya. Feeling that there was a link missing between art and technology Vivian turned to Singularity University where she reaffirmed her goal to help humanity and became the Singularity University Ambassador in Mexico. Today Vivian runs an art studio for children from the Jewish community, and leads an Innovation cluster that opens up the world of technology to diverse communities and empowers them to design and build for the future.
