Yael holds an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University Law School. She worked for four years in the litigation department of Herzog Fox Neeman, while also working as a teaching assistant for Dr. Ilana Dayan at Tel Aviv University. Subsequently, Yael decided to make use of her knowledge, skills, and experience for the benefit of public and social change. She was Parliamentary Advisor to M.K. Dr. Ruth Calderon for two years, during which time Yael drafted and promoted the sabbatical year, civil union, and Israeli shabbat bills. Yael was chosen to participate in the Tikvah seminar in New York on the subject of religious freedom in America. Afret the Knesset, Yael served for 4 years as the CEO of ZEZE, a social organization that aims to empower communities in need through creative and financially sustainable projects. Currently, yael is the founder and CEO of Laliway - a startup which was founded with the vision to enable every woman to take ownership on her freedom by building resilience, through running. Yael lives in Givatayim, with Liat and their sons - Yoav and Itamar.
