After high school she was drafted into the IDF, serving as a reporter for the Galatz Army Radio station. During her final year in the army she was appointed economic correspondent, a role she continued to hold after finishing her army service. In 2015 Yuna took on a position as welfare and social affairs correspondent for Channel 2 News, Israel’s most popular news show. By telling the stories of people who don't have the power or ability to speak for themselves, Yuna feels that she is giving back to society. Bringing to light the injustices of society fills her with great satisfaction. in 2019 she was appointed as the US Correspondent for channel 12 news where she covers US affairs and magazine stories, and she is always searching for the next big story.
