JERUSALEM, May 22 — More than 150 of the Jewish world’s leading young change makers from 31 countries will convene in Jerusalem July 2-6 for the 2017 ROI Summit to seek knowledge, partnerships and inspiration that will empower them to help reshape the Jewish future. The ROI Summit is the flagship program of ROI Community, an initiative of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation.
The ROI Summit participants are involved in a broad range of projects that are already changing the world. These include building bridges between Israelis and Palestinians; building networks of purpose; working to improve life for underprivileged communities; and scores of other dynamic and visionary careers and passion projects.
These innovators are committed to pursuing social change, both within the Jewish community and in society at large. They will be joining ROI Community, a network of more than 1,200 young Jews representing over 60 countries.
The 2017 participants hail from: Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Uganda, the United Kingdom, the United States, Uruguay and Zimbabwe.

"The Summit is our chance to convene the brightest Jewish activists, and create the perfect conditions for them to inspire one another and rethink what it means to be a Jewish leader today," said Justin Korda, Executive Director of ROI Community. "Our aim goes beyond the five days of the Summit; we hope that our participants sow seeds of collaboration at the Summit that will bear fruit year-round, around the world."
"We hope that the Summit experience will charge participants with a sense of responsibility to make their unique mark on the world, fueled by the knowledge, connections and inspiration they draw from meeting like-minded Jews from across the globe," added ROI's Associate Executive Director, No'a Gorlin.
