Daphna Kaufman directs the Reut Institute’s content teams, which work in the fields of socio-economics, national security, and Israel-Jewish world relations. In the past, she led Reut’s 21st Century Tikkun Olam taskforce, which created a new vision for Israel and the Jewish world to move the needle in global humanitarian assistance. She was also a member of the team addressing the challenge posed by the global campaign aimed at Israel’s de-legitimization. Prior to joining Reut, Daphna was the communications and research director for AIPAC’s leadership development department in Washington, D.C., and worked in communications for The Israel Project, also in Washington, D.C. She earned her M.A. (with highest honors) from George Washington University in media and public affairs. Born in Israel and raised in the U.S., she lives with her husband, son, and dog in Tel Aviv, which has been her home since 2009.
