New Elections and an Inclusive Israeli Judaism

Blog

Following the 2019 legislative elections in Israel, Elad Caplan joined 26 exceptional leaders driving positive change in the Jewish world and beyond at the Schusterman Fellowship’s Cohort 5 Kickoff Gathering.

As he spent three days listening to his peers discuss their thoughts and commitments to building a living Judaism and thriving Jewish State, he realized how often people in Israel dismiss the perspectives of Jews in the diaspora, and how doing so hinders progress in Israeli society.

Read Elad’s thoughts on his Times of Israel Blog on how Jewish people around the world can change Israel for the better through a simple undertaking: listening.

Elad Caplan is a Schusterman Fellow and the Managing Director of ITIM, the leading organization working to build a Jewish and democratic Israel in which all Jews can lead full Jewish lives.
