ROI Community is an international network of over 1,300 Jewish activists, entrepreneurs and innovators in their 20s and 30s who are enhancing Jewish engagement and fostering positive social change globally.
ROI members are proven leaders in diverse fields who are committed to making the world a better place and are driven by Jewish values.
ROI is a cohesive community where members come together in person, online and in spirit to support one another and collaborate in their mutual quest to strengthen Jewish communities and improve society.
Through its capstone Summit and an innovative suite of ongoing opportunities for professional development, networking and financial support, ROI empowers its members to take an active role in shaping the social landscape of Israel and the future of the Jewish and broader worlds.
ROI Community is an initiative of Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, a global organization that seeks to improve lives, strengthen communities and advance equity. Schusterman's philanthropic vision is grounded in a commitment to pursue justice, repair the world and treat all people with dignity and civility. The organization invests in efforts to improve public education in the United States, strengthen the Jewish people and Israel, and address the needs of marginalized individuals and communities. The ROI Summit
Each summer, ROI organizes a five-day professional development gathering where 150 of the Jewish world’s brightest young minds from every corner of the globe and every field of endeavor meet face-to-face to dream big, network intensely, and learn a great deal from each other. The Summit takes place in Jerusalem and acts as the gateway into ROI Community: once an individual participates, they become an ROI member.
The Year-Round Activity of ROI Community
ROI Community is an active, ongoing community where members connect and create with one another and offer each other strategic support and advice on different aspects of their personal and professional lives. We call this a "community of reciprocity," in which members both gain from and contribute to the network. ROIers have access to a wide range of offerings, including professional development courses and delegations, micro funding, leadership opportunities, Community events and more. This suite of year-round opportunities is geared toward creating ongoing learning and connections that spark game-changing, collaborative ideas.
We support and nurture the young, creative people in our Community because we believe that these innovative minds will ultimately shape the future of Israel’s social landscape and the Jewish and broader worlds for years to come.
