We are excited to announce two key leadership updates within our senior staff in Israel.

After 14 years as Executive Director of ROI Community, Justin Korda is stepping into a leadership role within the Schusterman Foundation-Israel (SFI), our philanthropic arm in Israel. Justin will become Deputy CEO, working with SFI CEO Ohad Reifen to expand the Foundation’s Israel-based grantmaking and impact.

No’a Gorlin will become CEO of ROI Community after working closely with Justin to grow the community for the past 10 years. No’a has been a driving force behind ROI’s signature Summit experience and developing the year-round programmatic offerings for Community members. She will now chart the future growth of ROI’s global network.

These developments mark an exciting new chapter for both Justin and No’a, and reflect the Foundation’s continued commitment to strengthening Israel and investing in ROI Community’s network of 1,600+ Israeli and global Jewish changemakers.

“We have exceptional professionals leading our Israel team,” said Stacy Schusterman, Chair of the Foundation. “There is so much potential in connecting the leaders we are investing in through ROI in support of the work we are doing in Israel and the Jewish community. This shift will ensure our grantees and ROIers are working together to make a deeper impact.”

The Schusterman family established the Schusterman Foundation-Israel in 2006, believing that to make an impact in Israel, the work needed to be rooted there. As SFI’s Deputy CEO, Justin will build on his experience developing strategic global networks to lead a portfolio that will pursue new horizons for the Foundation. Justin will manage some of the Foundation’s existing work in Israel, as well as explore new focus areas and apply innovative approaches to achieving social impact goals.

“I am excited to see ROI grow and thrive under No’a’s leadership and to continue working with this amazing team as we explore new opportunities to address pressing challenges in Israel and the global Jewish community,” said Justin.

The Foundation remains strongly committed to ROI Community’s growth and evolution with No’a at the helm. She has been instrumental in developing the organization’s strategy over the past 10 years and has a deep understanding of the challenges ROI community members are well positioned to address. Moreover, as a daughter of a celebrated Jewish feminist, No’a intends to carry forward her family’s legacy of, and the Foundation’s investment in, women’s leadership.

“We have learned an incredible amount over the past decade about what it takes to build a global network of leaders,” No’a said. “I am excited to take on the challenge of steering ROI into its next phase of growth as we continue to engage our members in strengthening Israel and diversifying Jewish life.”

Lynn Schusterman founded ROI Community in 2005 to connect young Jewish entrepreneurs and activists around the world. Over the past 14 years, ROI has grown from an annual conference into an active, year-round global network that includes Jewish leaders from more than 65 countries.

ROI Community members organize and participate in leadership development and networking opportunities, collaborate on new initiatives and provide each other with a personal and professional support system while working to address pressing needs in their communities. The network is known throughout the Jewish world as a source of ingenuity and a model of what is possible when young Jewish leaders are empowered to lead change initiatives in the Jewish community and beyond.

The ROI team will open its next round of recruitment in January and will welcome more than 100 new members to the ROI network in 2020.

As we look toward 2020, we are grateful for our professional team, grantees and network members who face challenges with optimism and humility and work hard every day to build a more just and equitable world.
