Michael DuPont is the Interim Director for Tulsa Grantmaking where he focuses on expanding positive youth experiences, advancing upward mobility through workforce development and degree completion initiatives, and supporting families in the areas of housing stability and food security. In this position, Michael is proud to play a supporting role in expanding summer learning and leadership development opportunities for youth, promoting stronger collaboration among Tulsa’s higher education institutions to improve the experience of transfer students, connecting young adults to training and employment, supporting the development of quality, affordable housing, and ensuring families have access to resources to meet their basic needs.
Michael has served as co-chair of Tulsa Funders' Roundtable, as a board member with several local nonprofit organizations—including the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, the Tulsa Higher Education Consortium, Teach For America Greater Tulsa, Collegiate Hall Charter School, and Global Gardens—and as a volunteer with Reading Partners and the Tulsa Area United Way. Prior to joining Schusterman, Michael worked in the nonprofit sector as a Project Coordinator for Rebuilding Together and spent time in entrepreneurial development, working with a technology start-up company through i2E, Inc.
Michael has a Bachelor’s degree in Letters from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA from the University of Tulsa, and has earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
