As a Program Officer on the Schusterman Foundation-Israel Team, Renana manages the grantmaking strategy for the social welfare, Jewish pluralism and global Jewish portfolios. Renana’s ability to distill big pictures into strategic work plans, combined with her Israeli chutzpah, serve her well in promoting key social causes in Israel.
Renana originally joined the Foundation as part of the ROI Team in 2012. There, she served as Program Officer, managing ROI Community’s communications and microfunding opportunities. Prior to that, as the spokesperson for Nefesh B’Nefesh, she oversaw the external voice of the organization as well as its government relations. Previously, Renana managed a portfolio of nonprofit clients for the Ruder Finn public relations firm, with a particular focus on those dealing with the Israel-U.S. relationship. She joined the Schusterman Foundation-Israel Team in 2018.
Renana has a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business from Bar Ilan University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Hebrew University. She lives in Jerusalem with her husband and children.
