Amalia works as part of our Public Policy team in Israel, leading efforts in the area of policy research and democracy-related initiatives.
Prior to joining Schusterman Family Philanthropies - Israel, she was a business analyst for McKinsey & Co., where she dedicated her time to facilitating clients navigation of complex strategic challenges in a variety of areas. Amalia interned at the Israeli mission to the UN and led the China-Israel Fellowship Program, cultivating student-level relationships between the countries. She served as Operational Officer in the 'IDF's Intelligence corps.
She graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University (NYC), double majoring in Political Science and Middle Eastern studies. She is fluent in German, Hebrew and English, and can chat in Spanish and Yiddish.
