Prior to joining the Schusterman team, Katie served as an Executive Assistant and Events Manager with the Bonner Group and handled fundraising for Congressman Cicilline of Rhode Island during the 2012 election cycle. Katie gained over 10 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, and administrative support roles with political campaigns and non-profit organizations. She also serves on the board of The Chris Atwood Foundation, an organization that supports harm reduction and recovery services for individuals and their families struggling with substance use disorder.

Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with a minor in History from the University of Virginia.
