As Co-Director of the ROI Community, Tamar helps lead the program’s strategy and oversees its operations, including team leadership, budget management, and implementation of the annual workplan. She also leads the strategy and grantmaking processes for ROI’s microgrants, supporting community-led initiatives and collaborations across the network.

Before joining Schusterman, Tamar spent nine years at Eretz-Ir, an Israeli nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities and social entrepreneurship in Israel’s geographic and social periphery. During that time, she served as Deputy Director for Strategy, led the Employment Development Department, and founded the organization’s Fundraising Department.

Tamar holds a BSW from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA in Social Leadership from Ben-Gurion University. She lives in Jerusalem with her husband and daughter.
