Amid increasing threats to women’s rights and freedoms, Jewish organizations are at the forefront of advancing women’s rights within Jewish communities and throughout the United States. The groups’ efforts range from advocating for abortion access to supporting survivors of domestic violence, to encouraging safe, respectful and equitable Jewish workplaces and communal spaces.

With young Jews across the country seeking opportunities to better our world, the Jewish nonprofit sector is responding by making service a defining element of Jewish life. OLAM, Repair the World and JDC Entwine are examples of three organizations offering young people opportunities to engage in service and connect with Jewish values.

The 2022 U.S. midterm elections gave voters an opportunity to have a voice in the policies that will shape the future of our communities and country. Americans weighed in on critical issues such as preserving fair and safe elections, protecting access to abortion, advancing criminal justice reform and much more.
