Inbal Magen
Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, Inbal is currently living in Jaffa, but considers herself as a Jerusalemite by heart. Inbal is a brand-new member of the ROI team, and is excited to have the chance to work together with ROI inspiring young leaders network in Israel and around the world.
Inbal is an experienced development practitioner, specializing in multi-sectoral projects, programming, strategy building and community engagement, in Israel and abroad. Inbal has worked with diverse populations in a variety of fields, including the promotion of digital literacy within the Bedouin communities in the Negev, accessibility for health and social rights for refugees, development of employment skills among young people from the Israeli periphery and East Jerusalem, raising awareness and accessibility to livelihood and reproductive health among women and girls in South Africa and Sierra Leone, and more.
Inbal has joined the ROI team after serving as the Senior Advisor of the Director General, at the Israeli Ministry of Regional Cooperation, where she worked to strengthen the ties and connections between Israel and it's neighboring countries, focusing on the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt and the PA.
Beforehand, Inbal has worked in the Israeli President's office, coordinating the content and strategy department, as a Lead Project Manager at Appleseeds Academy, an Israeli NGO promoting technological equality in the Israeli society, at the Israeli branch of UNICEF, and was part of international organizations such as Project Ten South Africa by the Jewish Agency, and the global agency for youth-led changemaking, Restless Development in Sierra Leone.
Inbal holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature and International Relations and an M.A. in International Development, both from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has recently graduate from Helicon School of Poetry in Tel Aviv, class of 2021.
