Daniela is a Program Officer on the Education Grantmaking team, for which she manages a portfolio of grantees that provide educators with high quality professional learning. Prior to joining Schusterman, Daniela worked at Social Policy Research Associates—a research, evaluation, and technical assistance consulting firm—where she served as Associate Director of the Equity, Education & Community Change Division. In this role, Daniela partnered closely with philanthropic foundations, national nonprofits, and school systems to build capacity for strategic learning, data-driven decision making, and iterative cycles of inquiry. She offers expertise in equitable and actionable measurement and evaluation, with content area focus on culturally responsive and sustaining learning environments.  

Daniela holds a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) and a Master of Arts in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Georgetown University.
