Emily is an Assistant for Events and Convenings at Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies. She works across multiple teams to assist in curating, planning and executing U.S. events and convenings. She believes in creating meaningful, highly detailed events that reflect the mission and values of the organization.
Prior to joining the organization, Emily worked as a Meetings Specialist at the National Apartment Association where she planned affiliate meetings and events. She also previously held a position as a Business Development Consultant at Oracle, building new relationships with customers and helping them meet greater organizational goals.
Emily is originally from Virginia and attended school at University of Virginia. There she earned her Bachelor's degree in American Studies, concentrating in Consumer Culture and Communications. In her free time, Emily enjoys volunteering at her local dog shelter, spending time with friends and trying out new recipes.
