Asylum brought together 140 multi-disciplinary artists from around the world to learn from experts, working artists, and each other. With a wide range of professional development and creative sessions—from “Artists Websites and Blogs,” to “Guided Improvisation,” to “The Art of Proposal Writing”—the Connection Point provided Asylum artists with necessary skills and creative space to advance their careers as professional, Jewish “art creators.” Throughout the gathering, participants explored Jewish themes and identities, shared skills and discussed their own work. Asylum Arts is run by Connector Rebecca Guber.
